Overview of Results
- High surface area particles are prepared in flame spray pyrolysis method.
- Particles prepared are in the nanoscale range (from TEM & BET).
- Ceria surface is enriched with Cu2+ ion (from XPS)
- Etching results show that the Cu2+ may be present in the CeO2 lattice.
- Small amount of carbon present in the materials (TGA & FTIR).
