Proteomic Analysis of Urinary Exosomes

Objective
Develop proteomic technologies to test the ability of specific urinary protein biomarkers to identify kidney diseases prior to clinical manifestations.

Methods
1) Production and characterization of anti-human transporter antibodies. 2) Mass spectrometry profiling of urinary exosomes. 3) Producing antibody microarrays.

Results
1) Produced majority of transporters. 2) Obtaining protein identifications from LC-MS/MS. 3) Use in vacuo process to immobilize antibodies on glass microscope.
