Silicon Nanocrystals as the Efficient Fluorescent Dye

Objective
Synthesizing and characterizing of Si nanocrystals with a high quantum yield.

Methods
Continuous etching of Si nanocrystals to obtain desired particle sizes and photoluminescence.

Results
We achieve the whole visible spectrum of fluorescence from Si nanocrystals.

Future Work:
Separation and biological application of Si nanocrystals.
