ChBE Alumnus Named CEO of Quality Health Strategies, Inc.

University of Maryland and A. James Clark School of Engineering alumnus Ronald G. Forsythe (M.S. ’92 and Ph.D. ’95, chemical engineering) has been named CEO of Quality Health Strategies, Inc.

Located in Easton, Md., Quality Health Strategies provides administrative services to private and public healthcare organizations, including human resources, business development, fraud prevention, IT, and security. Forsythe was serving as the company’s president and COO at the time of his promotion.

Prior to joining Quality Health Strategies in 2012, he was Vice President and CIO at the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, where he led projects and initiatives including the development of a 2.2 megawatt solar farm, the establishment of academic and entrepreneurial scholarship programs, and fundraising campaigns. He is currently a member of the Chesapeake Utilities Corporation’s Board of Directors and a regional advisory member for BB&T, and has served on the advisory boards of numerous educational and corporate institutions since 2007.
