Tuition and Fees

Tuition as of Spring 2006 is as follows:

Maryland resident:
$393 per credit hour + Fees*

Non-resident:
$820 per credit hour + Fees*

All students admitted to the Graduate School must pay graduate tuition whether or not the credit will be used to satisfy program requirements. Tuition waivers are available for students supported as Fellows, GRAs, or GTAs. If you wish to audit a course, you also must pay the usual graduate tuition. Graduate students will be charged for tuition at the graduate rate regardless of the level of courses for which they register.

*Fees
Mandatory fees are assessed each semester that you register. For a list of current fees consult the Office of the Bursar.

Because of the number of applications received each year, it is Departmental policy to not waive or defer application fees. There are no exceptions. Do not write to the department asking for a waiver of this policy.
