Technician—Faculty Research Assistant
Environmental Chemistry

The University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, Chesapeake Biological Lab, is seeking a full time (40 hour/week) Faculty Research Assistant. Duties include the preparation of water, sediment and biota samples as well as the analysis and data reduction for PCBs, PAHs, PBDEs and organochlorine pesticides. Experience in the operation and maintenance of GC/MS instrumentation is highly desirable. Minimum requirement is a relevant bachelor's degree. FRA rank and salary is commensurate with education and experience and a comprehensive benefits package is available. This position is currently funded for one year with renewals anticipated.
